Nail Polish Color Trends for Fall 2012

Each season brings a new wave of fabulous nail polish colors. This Fall is no exception. These collections from your favorite brands such as China Glaze, O.P.I., ORLY, Zoya, and Essie will have you wishing you had an extra closet just to store them all.

Check out these beautiful new nail polish color trends for this Fall (and these aren't even all of them!). These beautiful new polishes may have been introduced this season, but they're a fantastic accessory all year round.

China Glaze is one of the popular brand of nail polish because, not only do they keep coming out with fantastic colors, it's a great quality polish. The China Glaze On Safari Collection features 12 new awesome shades. I'm a personal fan of most of these. The glitters are beautiful, and it's not always easy to find nice glitter polish. The other colors are perfect as well and definitely suited for a Safari!

Man Hunt: A deep, bright inky-blue creme polish. Colorful and beautiful.

Purr-fect Plum: A berry-plum purple toned cream polish. Another gorgeous China Glaze color perfect for Fall (or any other time of the year).

Call of the Wild: A dark brown burgundy creme polish.

Adventure Red-y: A gorgeous blood red creme polish with a tiny hint of blue.

Elephant Walk: A graphite-grey polish with a teal tone and a hint of silver shimmer.

Exotic Encounters: A medium-dark toned teal green creme polish.

Jungle Queen: A medium-dark toned purple/grey polish with pink and purple shimmer. It leans more towards the deep purple side and contains a bit of a smokey grey. Perfect for Fall, or any time of the year.

Prey Tell: A deep, dark brown creme polish with a hint of red.

I'm Not Lion: Another beautiful glitter polish with specs of mostly light gold glitter but different colors can be seen in the glitter as you shift through different shades of light.

I Herd That: A beautiful glitter polish with specs of gold, copper, yellow, and orangey tones. This polish dries to a matte finish so, if you would like to shiny glossy finish, cover with a nice topcoat.

Kalahari Kiss: China Glaze labels this as a light sand brown color but it appears to be a lemony-yellow color. A very pretty creme polish that would have been lovely during the summer as well.

Desert Sun: A pretty unique, caramelly-butterscotch orange creme polish.

This China Glaze Collection is super funky and features 6 new wild colors. An excellent choice for Fall.

No Plane Jane: A turquoise-teal duo-chrome polish with a hint of gold shimmer.

Want My Bawdy: A bright, dark inky-blue metallic polish.

Deviantly Daring: A metallic purple with gold duo-chrome polish.

Unpredictable: An emerald green-blue toned metallic duo-chrome polish. Vibrant and stunning.

Rare & Radiant: A peridot toned yellow-green metallic duo-chrome polish.

Swanky Silk: A gold, pink, and green metallic duo-chrome polish.

OPI polishes are found in pretty much every salon and there's a reason for that. They are phenomenal! There are not many unlikeable OPI colors, and they keep coming up with more. Their Fall 2012 collection features 12 new gorgeous polishes, with colors to suit every taste. There are shimmers, nudes, and dark polishes. Why not get one of each?

Berlin There, Done That: A light grey creme polish with a hint of purple.

Danke-Shiny Red: A deep, shiny red metallic polish. Like having rubies on your nails!

Deutsche You Want Me Baby: A dark, rusty-copper toned orange metallic polish.

Don't Pretzel My Buttons: A soft beige nude creme polish.

Don't Talk Bach To Me: A fairly bright mustardy lemon-lime creme polish.

Every Month Is Oktoberfest: A deep reddish-purple (like Merlot) metallic-y polish with gold shimmer.

German-icure by OPI: A deep red metallic polish with a hint of brown tones and shimmer.

My Very First Knockwurst: A pale nude pink creme polish with a hint of beige tone.

Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!: A deep greenish-grey creme polish, almost an army green.

Schnapps Out Of It: A rosy orange colored polish with a hint of silver shimmer. Like a dark coral color, but slightly earthy.

Suzy And The Seven Düssledorfs: A medium toned purple metallic polish with slight red tones and shimmer.

Unfor-Greta-bly Blue: A medium-dark vibrant blue metallic polish with a beautiful tiny shimmer.

This collection by Essie is one of the tamer collections in my opinion. There isn't much contrast amongst the colors as they're mostly of the red and nude tones, with the exception of "Stylenomics" which is a green. These six shades are still are very beautiful colors.

Stylenomics: A rich, deep forest green.

Recessionista: A brilliant magenta, purple.

Miss Fancy Pants: Beige with a hint of grey.

Skirting The Issue: A deep, burgundy red.

Don't Sweater It: A sandy mauve creme polish.

Head Mistress: A bright raspberry-toned red.

Whether you're a huge metallic polish fan or not, you'll love these colors. The Essie Mirror Metallics collection features five gorgeous metallic polishes that lean towards the softer side of the color spectrum. These colors would be beautiful any time of the year.

No Place Like Chrome: A stainless steel colored metallic polish with silver glimmer.

Blue Rhapsody: A light, silvery-blue metallic polish with a hint of shimmer.

Nothing Else Metals: A soft, shimmery lilac purple metallic polish.

Penny Talk: A shiny, copper toned metallic polish. Looks just like a polished penny.

Good As Gold: A lightly toned gold metallic polish with a golden shimmer.

The Gloss Collection is one of three Zoya Fall 2012 nail polish collection. It features three colors that are intended to be customizable colors in the sense that each color "changes" depending on the number of coats you apply. Each polish starts out with a thin, faded tone of that color and becomes more and more rich and intense with the more coats you apply.

Frida: A teal-green jelly polish with a medium-darked toned green.

Paloma: A berry-toned red/pink jelly polish.

Katherine: A deep brownish toned plum jelly polish.

This is another one of three Zoya Fall 2012 nail polish collections. Super colorful and divalicious, metallic and sparkle polishes.

Daul: A light purple base polish with a gold shimmer.

Elisa: A bright red polish with a hint of raspberry tone and a slight shimmer.

FeiFei: A light silvery blue polish with multi-toned shimmer.

Ray: A deep forest green frosty polish with green shimmer.

Song: A deep, bright shimmery blue polish.

Suri: A deep, bright frosty purple shimmer polish.

Zoya Designer is one of the three Zoya Fall 2012 collections. This collection features six glamorous colorful shades. Perfect for Fall.

Rekha: A rich, blood-red creme polish.

Toni: A deep, burgundy red creme polish.

Monika: A dark grape purple creme polish.

Natty: A deep, smokey-blue creme polish.

Evvie: A greyish-silvery green creme polish.

Noot: A charcoal-cobalt grey creme polish.

If any nail polish color collection screams fire it's this one. Each of these colors are beautiful on their own but the collection is magnificent. Some of the colors remind me of the Hunger Games collection by China Glaze. The ORLY Fired Up collection is the perfect Fall color collection, reminiscent of an Autumn bonfire.
